The William F. Crumel Jr. Foundation presents scholarships annually to deserving students in support of their post-high school education.
Using established selection criteria, students are selected with presentation taking place at the Annual Celebration and Scholarship Event.
The selection criteria include: |

Ø An immediate family member (e.g. son, daughter, sister, brother.), or anyone who has legal/permanent residence in the household, of any WFC Foundation Board Member is ineligible to receive a WFC Foundation Scholarship Award.
Ø APPLICANT must be a Black, African – American and/or other United States citizen.
Ø APPLICANT must be a high school senior, attending a 2 or 4 year college or university, or attending a technical school/trade school at the time the application is submitted.
Ø APPLICANT must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (C.G.P.A.) of 2.3 (based on a 4.0 maximum scale) or equivalent based on other officially stated maximum scale of Applicant's school system.
Ø APPLICANT must be accepted by an accredited college/university; technical/trade school and must provide proof of enrollment before actual allocation of the awarded funds.
Ø Total Family Income of Applicant must be $60,000 per year or less.
Ø Applicant must provide two (2) letters of recommendation.
Ø The application must be post marked by November 30th of each application year.
Ø IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD, RECIPIENT MUST AGREE TO ATTEND the Foundation’s annual celebration in its entirety. |
